Overview
Shandur Polo Festival annualy held at Shandur Pass which is situated in the northern region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit Baltistan. Shandur Pass distance 175 km from Chitral & 212 Km from Gilgit. The polo festival also dubbed as the Game of Kings. The three days festival has been organizing Tourism Cooperation of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa where various team competing from Chitral and Gilgit on the polo ground.
The polo vanue also referred to Roof of the World at the altitude of 12,500 feet above sea level, where Karakoram, Hindu Kush and Pamir ranges meet.
In addtion to polo matches, there amany tourist attraction for visitor for this event include Chiltral, Kailash Valley, Gilgit Naltar valley culture performances by the locals.
